Posted in Stuff From Your Neighborhood Around the World with tags , , , , on June 14, 2009 by bodyrockin

Now I have seen some folks over the years here and there not worrying about who would see them or didn’t care when they couldn’t wait to get home or to a hotel room, and have been flashed my share of times. but porn stars are outrageous.the things one will do to make a dollar never amazes me any more or shocks.

What would your reaction be to seeing folks ummm, doing the nasty or showing their goodies for any one passing by?

Historic Route 66

Posted in Stuff From Your Neighborhood Around the World with tags , , , on June 7, 2009 by bodyrockin

“The saga of Route 66, christened “The Mother Road” by Steinbeck is the story of the rise and fall of small “Mom and Pop” owned businesses. In the beginning, small locally-owned gas stations, tourist camps, and diners were built as entrepreneurs provided new opportunities to get the travelers to stop and spend money. New signs were planted along the highway. They ranged from the small Burma Shave jingles to the large bright yellow billboards with red letters proclaiming the location of the next Whiting Brothers Gas Stations. Creativity abounded with neon, wigwam motels, trading posts filled with imported trinkets and postcards picturing a new species called jackalopes.

Some of these small businesses developed into corporations, building franchised locations in state after state. Soon travelers deserted the small eateries, gas stations, and tourist camps located in the center of towns for the familiarity of heavily-advertised McDonalds, Whiting Brothers, and Howard Johnson.

The prosperity also foretold the end of the great highway. As travel increased and larger cars were built, the road simply wasn’t adequate for the amount of traffic. By 1970, nearly all of the original Route 66 was replaced by a more efficient four-lane highway. The final section of the original road was replaced by Interstate 40 at Williams, Arizona.

Like the early trails of the late 19th century, Route 66 stimulated the largest westward movement in United States history. Often called “America’s Main Street”, it linked the isolated and under-populated Midwest and Southwest with two important 20th century cities — Chicago and Los Angeles. Even though the road has disappeared from the maps, it continues to thrive in the hearts of people worldwide.”

Red Bull pulled in Germany after cocaine test

Can see it now, the stores here in the US running out of Red Bull right now when more folks hear this story..LOL

Red Bull’s New Cola: A Kick from Cocaine?

Source: Yahoo News

By JEAN FRIEDMAN-RUDOVSKY / LA PAZ Jean Friedman-rudovsky / La Paz – Mon May 25, 6:10 am ET

About a year ago, the makers of Red Bull, the famous caffeine-loaded energy drink, decided to come out with a soda, unsurprisingly named Red Bull Cola. The shared name implied the same big kick. But could the cola’s boost – supposedly “100% natural” – come from something else? Officials in Germany worry that they’ve found the answer – cocaine. And now they have prohibited the soda’s sale in six states across the country and may recommend a nation-wide ban.

“The [Health Institute in the state of North Rhine Westphalia] examined Red Bull Cola in an elaborate chemical process and found traces of cocaine,” Bernhard Kuehnle, head of the food safety department at Germany’s federal ministry for consumer protection, told the German press on Sunday. According to this analysis, the 0.13 micrograms of cocaine per can of the drink does not pose a serious health threat – you’d have to drink 12,000 liters of Red Bull Cola for negative affects to be felt – but it was enough to cause concern. Kuehnle’s agency is due to give its final verdict on Wednesday when experts publish their report. (See pictures of America’s cannabis culture.)

Red Bull has always been upfront about the recipe for its new cola. Its website boasts colorful pictures of coca, cardamom and Kola nuts, along with other key “natural” ingredients. The company insists, however, that coca leaves are used as a flavoring agent only after removing the illegal cocaine alkaloid. “De-cocainized extract of coca leaf is used worldwide in foods as a natural flavoring,” said a Red Bull spokesman in response to the German government’s announcement. Though the cocaine alkaloid is one of 10 alkaloids in coca leaves and represents only 0.8% of the chemical make-up of the plant, it’s removal is mandated by international anti-narcotics agencies when used outside the Andean region. (Check out a story on how Bolivia is preaching the virtues of coca culture.)

Meanwhile, in Bolivia, halfway around the world and smack in the middle of the Andes, the controversy is causing chuckles. Coca is a fundamental part of Andean culture and for years, Bolivians have tried to get the world to understand that the leaf is not a drug if it’s not put through the extensive chemical process that yields cocaine. Left-wing President Evo Morales, a coca-grower himself, has made coca validation a personal quest, chewing leaves in front of world leaders and press cameras during his travels. “Let’s say [Red Bull Cola] doesn’t take out the cocaine alkaloid. Have any of those millions of people across the world who have drunk that soda ever gotten sick or felt drugged?,” asks Dionicio Nunez, a coca-growers’ leader from the Yungas region. “We’ve always known that coca isn’t harmful. Now maybe others will realize it too.”

In Germany, the Red Bull spokesman insisted that his company’s product, along with others containing the coca leaf extract are considered safe in Europe and the U.S. And already, some experts have come to Red Bull’s defense. “There is no scientific basis for this ban on Red Bull Cola because the levels of cocaine found are so small,” Fritz Soergel, the head of the Institute for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Research in the city of Nuremberg, tells TIME. “And it’s not even cocaine itself. According to the tests we carried out, it’s a non-active degradation product with no effect on the body. If you start examining lots of other drinks and food so carefully, you’d find a lot of surprising things,” he says. (Read about the anti-Red Bull: a drink that can calm you down.)

Coca leaves, of course, have a long record in modern soda pop history. Most prominently, there was Coca-Cola whose original 19th century formula used unaltered coca leaves. In the early 1900s the company said it would only use “spent,” or de-cocainized leaves though the company refuses to confirm whether leaves in any form are still used.

But the problem is when it comes to coca and cocaine, it’s not just a health concern, but a legal one. Since 1961, trade of coca outside the Andean region – where people have chewed or brewed coca in tea to stave off hunger and exhaustion for centuries – has been prohibited unless, the cocaine alkaloid is removed. Few companies in the world have authorization to trade in the leaf and most are pharmaceutical companies that perform this de-cocainizing process. The most prominent is New Jersey-based Stepan Chemical Company which has been reported to supply Coca-Cola with its narcotic-free derivative.

But no one knows where Red Bull Cola’s coca leaves come from or where they are processed. Red Bull did not respond to immediate requests for comment and Rauch Trading AG, the Austria-based food company that actually manufactures Red Bull Cola was quick to tell TIME that they are not allowed to speak about the product.Meanwhile, Bolivia, which has lots of coca leaves to sell, is getting a kick out of the fact Red Bull Cola admits to using coca in any form (since Coca-Cola evades the question). Ironically, the drink is not actually available yet in Bolivia. But, the locals say, this is a great opportunity to show that coca isn’t harmful – with or without the cocaine alkaloid. Does a sexual offender live in your neighborhood?

Posted in Stuff From Your Neighborhood Around the World with tags , , on April 20, 2009 by bodyrockin

Online program allows you to search and locate them in your town/city!

The U.S. Congress has passed several laws that require states to implement sex offender and crimes against children registries: the Jacob Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent Offender Registration Act, the Pam Lychner Sexual Offender Tracking and Identification Act, and Megan’s Law. On March 5, 2003, the United States Supreme Court ruled that information about potential predators may be publicly posted on the Internet.

The Problem

While the contents of state sex offender registries are public records and you have the right to see them, access is often difficult. Often, you must know the name of the individual for which you are looking and, in many states, you must go to your local police station and complete an information request form. In some states, there are fees and search limits. Many states now maintain web sites, but these often have limited functionality and there is no official nationwide government online registry.

The Solution -National Alert Registry

Now National Alert Registry aggregates all of the sex offender records contained in the various state sex offender registries, providing a single database with nationwide coverage. Using state-of-the-art mapping, database, and e-mail notification technologies, National Alert Registry provides a simple yet extremely powerful suite of products to help you and your family be aware, be alert, and be safe!

Why doing background checks, could save your life!

Posted in Stuff From Your Neighborhood Around the World with tags , , , , on April 18, 2009 by bodyrockin

This story is really sad because a child was killed basically in our back yard by a man she did not really know.

The child and her Mom were originally from White Hall, Illinois about a 15 minute drive south of where I live.

Our city (Jacksonville) is the county seat but surrounded by many small farm supported communities in all directions which is basically the demographics of the small town that little girl lived in before she and her mother had just moved in with the man Monday April 13th up in Joliet, Illinois.

So folks kinda have family and friends through out the area and this guy is lucky he is in jail now but maybe not, since it’s a known fact that other inmates do not take to kindly to those who commit crimes against children.

See full story at: White Hall Child Beaten To Death!

It is particularly disturbing because the child was killed by a man her mother only met on the internet that she left her small home town to go live with him a few hours north of her former home her in central Illinois.

This story can not stress the dangers that net can be when women are meeting men they invite to their homes or go to their homes that they really do not know or if any thing they say about themselves is actually true and verifiable, who they really are, the type of person others know them to be, if they have a criminal record, been to jail..ya know silly little stuff like that you might want to take in to account before exposing your children to them?

It’s can be easy to get real info that is already available to the public via public records, but but you may not be able to get the info deep info you really need to that shows they are some one you may be able to trust unless you opt to hire a private detective or use one of better info/background checker sites online to get deeper info maybe not available via public record.

If you maybe do not want them to find out you hired some one to “check” them out and not hire a private detective then there are online background checkers like this one, Net Detective which is a popular and leading online service that says it can “Find out the truth about anybody” and for the few dollars it cost, may well be worth it.

The program is one you can use to find out a host of other information and is one recommended by even real live “PI’s as one use too.

Post any real life experiences or comments that support if you had done a background check on some one or some company, that check may have saved you from harm or some one you know or from getting scammed or rip off, feel free to comment on your story.

Do you know where your kid is for Spring Break 2009?

Posted in Stuff From Your Neighborhood Around the World with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on March 19, 2009 by bodyrockin

Every spring college kids head off to party zones around the US and other countries that have been proclaimed the hot spot locations to be at for the annual “rites of Spring”

The term Spring Break in itself took on new meaning for American college kids reportedly when Colgate University mens swimming team went to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. in 1935 to start it all, and the annual pilgrimage to select spots began and increased over the years and no, Joe Francis from Girls Gone Wild did not start Spring Break no matter what some folks may think.

Spring Break may not have started as the balls to wall wide open party that you see today, alcohol to excess, the many wet t-shirt or no clothes at all contest, and of course the reason the guys go in mass is the hope or fact of girls getting naked every where and experiencing uninhibited sex the wildest girls (drunk & drugged out few) they can meet and most likely will never see again!

Which school winning the award for the easiest co-eds to knock boots with at the breaks, may be some kinda honor to claim and may spur enrollments..lol

How many parents are worried you might see your lil girls tits all over some wild and crazy spring break video, doing all sorts of things she surely didn’t tell you it was about? If you haven’t seen any of the videos produced at these ummm, parties, you might want to take a look and get a real idea what goes on, where drinking to excess releases the girls and guys inhibitions and getting naked or having some kinda sex is expected, if it’s to much for you to handle then next time ya might wanna take that credit card away from your little darling that she used to book her trip to what ever party she chose as her destination of choice..

Don’t think the US governments warnings has slowed or will that many college kids from heading to the some spots that have been deemed not to safe. You’ll have more to worry about than your angel getting drunk and engaging in crazy public sexual behavior in public.

The top spots: Cancun, Acapulco, Ibiza, Key West, Myrtle Beach, South Padre Island, Panama City Beach, Nassau, Miami Beach, and Jamaica.

Kidnappings, drug deals gone bad and a few deaths have tarnished the “rites of spring” celebration in a few of the popular spots the in the last few years.

These videos will give you more than a taste of what goes on when your kids gets “get crunked up” and give new meaning to the song lyric “pop lock and drop it”

Suleman gave birth to octuplets at a Bellflower hospital on Jan. 26, and already had six other children. The home the unemployed single-mother lives in is facing foreclosure.

Vivid says the offer was sent Tuesday via overnight mail and there has been no immediate response.

The offer letter says Suleman’s video would be distributed under the Vivid-Celeb imprint, which has released videos starring Pamela Anderson and Kim Kardashian.
